Let me tell you a quick story. It is a story about my Front Doors. I know you are thinking BORING. But hear me out. I am a proud owner of an old farm house. It is beautifully decorated and I swell with pride every time I walk in it. I have taken a lot of time to decorate every room just exactly how I want it. I sometimes just walk from room to room and amaze myself on how great it all looks. Sounds great so far, right? It is until you see my front doors. I was walking up to my house a little while ago and stopped and looked at my front doors for the first time. I was mortified at what I saw.
My front doors looked old and shabby. There was a gap on the bottom of the Oak doors where you could see through. The house was so beautiful on the inside but the entrance to it all was atrocious. How had I not noticed this before? I knew that I needed new front doors and quick. But which kind?
I looked on the internet and came across Wooden Front Doors. They caught my eye right away. The best part was that you could design them yourself. I could design the perfect doors for my beautiful house. I was sold! I could choose from 4 different wood grain finishes. There was Cherry, Teak, Antique Oak and Golden Oak I was able to match up a colour that matched my house perfectly.
There are different designs of doors also. I looked at Wooden Front Doors that have vertical, horizontal and diagonal patterns. It was all my choice. I was in my glory being able to design the whole door.
I also got to choose if I wanted windows or not. I was able to choose the design of the window also. There are long windows, small windows, octagon windows and more. I chose the look I liked best. The glass can be in the center of the door or off to the side. These windows are double laminated for two reasons. One is for security reasons so that they are not easy to break. They will also keep the cold air from seeping through.
I was also allowed to choose if I wanted extras added like peepholes, door knockers and letterboxes. These along with handles came in satin, brass or chrome.
By the time I had finished I had completely designed my own Wooden Front Doors. They built them and shipped them right to my house and I had them installed in no time. Now I can stand outside my house and be as proud of my front doors as I am of the inside of my house.
